A Delicious and Easy Way to Help those Who Serve You!

In an effort to continue supporting Louisville’s food and beverage professionals, we have come up with an idea that we think Louisville will love.

 


Chef in a Box

APRON Inc. introduced Louisville Chef in a Box on August 5, a weekly program, where folks pick up a tasting or surprise from an acclaimed local restaurant, packed conveniently to enjoy at home.  Each Chef in a Box could contain a signature dish, a possible gift certificate, promotional swag, or even a possible “Surprise” in a Box! The Box will cost $50; half of the proceeds will go to support the restaurant, and half to support APRON Inc.’s efforts.

Please keep coming back-we will soon put up contact and pick up information for the restaurants, and also a list of what the bag from each will contain.

“Chef in a Box” is in Memory of Chef Dean Corbett and his constant commitment to the Local Restaurant Community and Non-Profit Organizations as well as being one of the Founding Fathers of Apron Inc.

Salad:
Mixed greens, grapes, grilled red onion, candied almonds, goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette
Entree:
Baked ricotta gnocchi, pulled smoked chicken, roasted cherry tomatoes, caramelized onions, spinach
Dessert:
Banana pudding
Wine: Full bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc
$25 Fork & Barrel Gift Card (to be used on a future visit to the restaurant)

How do I order the Box?

You order online or call the Featured Restaurant Directly for that week. $25 Benefits Apron Inc. $25 Goes to the Restaurant.

When Do I call?

You can place your order starting the Friday prior to the Restaurant of interest – We Suggest Calling Sooner than Later – they Do Sell Out!

Is it Pickup or Delivery?

Each Restaurant makes that decision but usually Curbside Pickup Only

How much are the Boxes?

$50, which may or may not include Tax. Tips are always Welcomed

How many Boxes does each Restaurant Sell Weekly?

50 Boxes (Some have even Sold More)
